Much of our work is gained as a result of a fast turn around which is crucial in today’s market. Our aim is to provide the client, where practical, their requirements within the constraints of the British Standards.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
Structural stability is our ultimate responsibility and this has to be achieved in the most cost effective manner, containing structural members within the desired fabric of the Architects design whilst not compromising health & safety issues.
ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
Analysing & designing structural members / schemes ranging from 1 beam in an extension to large scale new build dwellings.
Designing in masonry, steel, concrete & timber from conception through to completion including gaining building regulations approval, post contract involvement liaising with contractors, architects etc.
MATERIALS
We have substantial experience & knowledge of the use of the four main materials as described above, theoretical & practical through work based learning over the past 20 years.
ENVIRONMENT
Recycling & sustainability issues now form part of life in general which we carry forward into our work environment & everyday thinking. We work closely with architects & M & E consultants within the design team to produce the most cost effective, sustainable & efficient solutions to our projects.
We promote the use of timber where possible structurally & lime mortars which also has better movement qualities.
CONSTRUCTION
We are happy to deal with queries arising post contract in relation to the building regulations details already provided, including site visits if deemed necessary.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
We fully comply with the CDM regulations, which forms part of our early thinking in any project. All of our calculations issued include a risk assessment relevant to the nature of the project, build ability considerations & in particular temporary works requirements for new openings in existing walls.
